The Biggest Single-Phase Heat Pump in the Flotide Range

The Flotide Inverter 25 is the single-phase version of our Inverter 25T. It uses the same cabinet, suits the same 60-115m³ pools and delivers up to 24.0kW of heating capacity, but it runs on a normal 230V single-phase supply, so you don't need a 3-phase upgrade. Peak COP is 13.0, so for every £1 of electricity you put in you get up to £13 worth of heat back into the pool. A good fit for large domestic pools, holiday lets and light commercial sites.

⚡ Important: Dedicated Hardwired Supply Required

Single-phase doesn't mean small. The Inverter 25 has a rated current of 22.5A and a minimum fuse rating of 35A (Flotide datasheet), so it must be hardwired on its own dedicated circuit by a qualified electrician. Flotide's manual calls for a 30mA RCD that trips in under 0.1 seconds, and your electrician should size the cable and breaker from the unit's nameplate using the cable table in the manual. Smart Inverter Modulation

The full inverter compressor automatically adjusts heating capacity to suit the weather and the pool's demand. It modulates all the way from 4.7kW up to 24.0kW, which is a much lower floor than the 25T (9.8kW), so once the pool is up to temperature it can tick over gently instead of cycling on and off.

Outstanding Energy Efficiency

With a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of up to 13.0 at A27°C/W27°C, the Inverter 25 delivers up to £13 worth of heat for every £1 of electricity consumed. In cooler UK weather (15°C air temperature) it still manages a COP of up to 7.2.

Gree Inverter Compressor

Built around a low-noise Gree rotary inverter compressor paired with a variable speed fan motor, the same compressor brand used across the single-phase Flotide Inverter range.

"All Seasons" Operation

Works in ambient temperatures down to -7°C, so you can extend the swimming season into autumn and start earlier in spring. Automatic defrost keeps the unit running efficiently in cold snaps.

Automatic Heating & Cooling

Not just a heater - the Inverter 25 can also cool the pool in summer if needed. Automatic mode maintains your target temperature without manual intervention.

Eco-Friendly R32 Refrigerant

Worked out from the 0.7 - 4.96 kW power input on Flotide's datasheet, at an average UK electricity rate of £0.25/kWh:

• 8 hours at minimum output: about £1.40
• 8 hours flat out: about £9.92

It sits near the top figure mainly while heating the pool up from cold. Once you're at temperature the inverter modulates down, so day-to-day costs are usually well below it.

🔧 Installation Notes

Professional installation required. This is a hardwired unit and must be installed by a qualified electrician, alongside a qualified pool technician for the pipework. Key requirements from Flotide's manual and datasheet:

• Dedicated 220-240V single-phase supply, 35A minimum fuse rating, with a 30mA RCD (trip time under 0.1 seconds)
• Outdoor installation with plenty of fresh air. Keep at least 2.5m clear in front of the fan outlet, 500mm behind the air inlet and 300-700mm at the sides (see the siting diagram in the manual). Don't box it in or tuck it behind shrubs
• Normally installed within 7.5m of the pool to keep pipe heat loss down
• Level, stable base sized for the 1160 x 490 mm footprint
• Connection to the pool filtration system via 50mm pipework with a bypass
• Recommended flow rate 14 m³/h - check your pool pump can support this
