5kW Ice Bath Chiller & Heater | Poolex O'Spa Cold Plunge Chiller (Wi-Fi)

Filling a plunge tub with bags of ice gets old fast. It is expensive, slow, and the water is a different temperature every session. The Poolex O'Spa is an ice bath chiller that does the job properly: set your target on the app and it takes your cold plunge down to 5°C and holds it there, day after day, with no ice runs.

Unlike most dedicated cold plunge chillers, it also heats. The same unit warms water to 40°C, so it will run an ice bath in the morning and a hot soak in the evening, or keep a hot tub warm all winter. If you are into contrast therapy, one machine covers both ends.

Works with any cold plunge setup

The O'Spa connects with standard 32/38mm hose, so it suits purpose-built cold plunge tubs, stock tanks, wooden Nordic baths, inflatable ice baths and hot tubs alike. Cold water therapy without the faff

Regular cold water immersion is widely used for muscle recovery after training, circulation and stress relief. The hard part has always been keeping the water reliably cold. A proper chiller fixes that, and because this one is a reversible heat pump rather than a cold-only unit, it earns its keep all year round.

Installation

The O'Spa connects in line with your circulation pump using standard 32/38mm hose. On a spa or hot tub, a bypass kit (2 x T-pieces and 3 x ball valves) makes for the neatest install. The unit should sit outside with clear airflow around it, away from fences, walls and dense planting. If it will not be used for an extended period, drain it down and store it under cover, frost damage is not covered by the warranty.
