The Norsup Evo Pro is a proper variable speed pump with the controller built into the motor, so there is no separate box to wire in. Set it to tick over slowly for the bulk of the day and wind it up only when you actually need the flow. That is where the saving comes from, a pump at half speed draws a fraction of the power.

What It Does

• Timer with five speeds a day, so the pump runs slow overnight and faster while you are swimming
• Skimmer function, a short burst at high speed on a repeat, for example five minutes at 3000 rpm every three hours, to pull floating debris into the skimmer
• Speeds from 500 to 3000 rpm, set in steps of one hundred
• Modbus and a control cable, so a pool controller can drive it rather than the pump running on its own timer
• Permanent magnet motor, which is what makes it quiet at the low speeds

Replacing An Older Pump

Norsup build it to go onto the existing connections of a Badu Better, Badu Top II, Badu 90, Badu Magna or Badu Prime, so on a lot of older installs it is a straight swap rather than a replumb. Connections are 1.5 inch and 2 inch female thread.

Which One Do I Need

The 2 HP is the bigger motor. It is the one to go for on a larger pool, on a long pipe run, or where there is more in the loop to push through such as a heat pump, a UV unit or a water feature. The 1.5 HP suits most standard domestic pools. If you are not certain, give us a ring and we will work it out with you rather than guess.
